RF is even better LIVE
by SBagleyThe collaboration of music styles and artists' personalities (and their tales) makes for one heck of an album. With each new album, they evolve into something better. Richmond Fontaine is really great to see/hear live.
Post to Wire is another fave (why isn't it on I-tunes?). And then there is Thirteen Cities (2007). These guys make me want to move to Portland.
Also check out Willie Vlautin's book Motel Life. Sad, sweet, and straight forward. Like an RF tune come to life.
More Lively than "The Fitzgerald"
by changho78I must say that I'm quite a fan of this band and their work. I love the albums "Lost Son", "Winnemucca", and "Post to Wire". "The Fitzgerald" was a bit of a downer for me, but RF has taken it back up a notch with this album.
