Simply Amazing!

American roots
by spanishnemoVery few contemporary singers have truely captured the moment the find themselves in. The ones who have done so successfuly, have gone on to become legends of their time. Eric Hanke is well on his way to becoming on of those singer/songwriters whose music speaks about the present and leaves a lasting impression on the listner. My favorite song is track 3. Eric uses a simple guitar track that is pleasing to listner, allowing the heavy lyrics to land like canon balls on everyone who hears. This album can be listened to from beginning to end, reminding us all of a time where Americans spoke from the heart and sang what was on their minds.
