some of the best synthpop out there!!
by michaelm78There are many contemporary synthpop bands out there who have been inspired by all the stuff that came out of the 80's, but when it comes to this type of music Cosmicity is one the best. Many of these "new new-wave" bands either don't display the strongest song writing or their intermixture of the sound & technology seems too contrived. You don't need to know a lot about music to realize that Electro-pop needs a certain level of decent production to sound good. (unlike indie-rock or others genres of music) But that is not the case with Cosmicity. Mark Nicholas's music seems so well crafted and emotional. Its hard to believe its just done by one guy and his synths. Whether its one of his slower songs or an uptempo dance track, the music of cosmicity is so well made and enjoyable to listen too! I highly recommend this and any cosmicity album. Start with this one and "in perspective" and you will have some of the best contemporary synthpop out there!
good first cd to buy of this band
by richie74This a great cd for those who do not know much about this band. If you like erasure, pet shop boys then you will like this music. It is a great mush of syn. music. Alone, Sedgwick, Automatic are great dance tracks, then you have the slow moody tracks of crucify, and Isabella. This cd is worth the 9.99
