Yes, Stook rocks live and on this album.
by rossgramJust had the chance to catch Stook in Cleveland and the music was tight, the vocals were gravelly, the set was great. This album stands apart in new independent music with a sound treading in the waters of Robert Earl Keen, Bob Dylan, Martin Zellar, Clem Snide and Tom Petty. The songwriting and melodies are thoughtful and catchy.
Stook Rocks!

Best Independant Americana Record I've Heard In A Long Long TIme
by LuchiIf you like great songs, great harmonies, and excellent musicianship... this is the album for you.
It makes me miss Minneapolis and the Jayhawks and Westerburg and the 400 bar and Twin Tone and The Electric Fetus and the Vikings and the lakes and my sister and Uptown and the vegetarian menu at the Triple Rock.
