Fantastic!!
by geoartifexWithout a doubt, this is a great CD and an awesome band! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The lead singer ate all the pizzas and put 60 miles on another friend's Harley while staying there. Gotta be some quality stuff there somewhere....
Be objective, now...
by Kintla LakeIt's usually tough to know an artist in another capacity -- I work with a member of AMOS -- and then critique the art. In this case, fortunately, it's not difficult at all, 'cause "Easier Said Than Done" is quality stuff. And although I jab my colleague about "Signs" owing to "Cracked Rear View: The Lost Tracks," this is fresh, imaginative music. Unless you're hung up on listening to airplayed-to-death cuts or truly obscure material, give AMOS a download. Recommended: "Signs," "Just Wanna Be," "Reasons" and especially "This Could Take A While" (reportedly written while the aforementioned colleague and I were hanging out at Sturgis).
Real Music For Real Life
by Critical SoulI love this album because it fills the void left on the radio by boy bands, alt-alt groups, who's louder than the next guys, etc., etc., etc. I stumbled on this band by accident but I have to tell you it is one of the more pleasant accidents I've ever had. Real music for real life is what it is. An honest approach to music from a bunch of guys who are living it, it seems. From rocking out to lamentful odes, it is solid through and through. I wish I lived where I could see them live.
