An Absolute Gem in Every Way ... NOT To Be Missed!

by bob-bennett

This is one of those albums where everything simply aligned perfectly. Each song is so well written and so fully realized. Remember when there was no such thing as a music video? Remember when we did all that stuff internally ... actual songs prompting us to listen instinctively with our heads, hearts and imaginations? I'm writing this from memory without the liner notes, but I think Josh Leo produced this record ... and everything: the arrangements, the sounds, the mix ... it's all good. This record deserves the widest possible audience ... alas, it's now a "catalog item". That may not happen. But to adapt the old NBC slogan: "If you haven't heard it, it's new to you." Buy now and thank me later. I've not heard all of Dana Cooper's albums, but I think it's safe to say that this one is a candidate for being his Sgt. Pepper. I'm a singer-songwriter and I'd dearly love to put my name on something this stinkin' good. Thank goodness Dana Cooper did!
