This band really got my attention. Every once in a while you hear a band where certain aspects just This band really got my attention. Every once in a while you hear a band that just sounds perfect to the ear. The singer, Cloe Orwell, has this voice...well...its a perfect (again that word) blend of beauty and edgyness. Kind of the way I felt the first time I heard the Pretenders or The Selector. I tend to listen to drummers a lot when I listen to music. This Brad Elvis guy plays strong and steady. I've never gotten to see the Handcuffs play live but I did see Brad Elvis play with the Romantics. He's an amazing performer. His day job must be "juggler trainer" the way he throws the sticks around while he's playing. He reminds me a lot of Keith Moon.
