never got the recognition they deserve

The argument is probably one of the greatest bands i've ever seen. Its a shame itunes doesn't have their earlier songs also...wheelchair and grudge are amazing...listen to them. This album is great from start to bottom. They were amazing live and i loved going to watch them play in college. Probably their biggest fan in College Park. You guys rock

No arguments here...

It's shocking to me that an album this good can come out and no one cares. While it might not be "art rock" or whatever else is hot these days, it is an unbelievably well crafted bit of pop music with clever lyrics and unforgettable melodies. From the beginning, "Song One" takes you back to the angst of liking a girl in the 8th grade. "Speak My Mind" is a brilliant look at how a cat sees it's owner. "Everyone's Sellin'..." is one of the better (and catchy) looks at the Los Angeles culture. "Incognito" is a silly, anthemic ode to the celebrity that ultimately escaped the band, with unabashed "whoa-ohs". The Argument deserved better, but it's not too late for you to enjoy. These are the songs that you will sing along to in your car over and over...
