Nashville songwriter pulled out of recording hiatus...
by bkgMusicBilly Falcon has been primarily known as a songwriter since his last major album in 1994. In the liner notes of albums by Bon Jovi, Trace Adkins, Sherrie Austin, etc. is where his fans would find his name recently. However, there was internet demand from these fans for new material recorded by Billy and "Songs About Girls" is his answer. The album features a re-recording of his highest charting hit "Power Windows" which splices a crackly segment of the original recording for part of a chorus as if the narrator of the song is listening to it on his AM radio. Billy's daughter Rose joins him on "Wish" a song which appeared on Sherrie Austin's 1999 album "Love In The Real World." "Breathe" is Billy's own version of a song that appears on his daughter's debut EP for Columbia. All in all an enjoyable album that gave fans that had been waiting for a follow-up to "Paper Ship" what they wanted... more Billy Falcon.
