Pure poetry
by Gold Rush BrideI've been a big fan of Delmhorst's for a while now. This album in particular has always been a favorite. While I'm as big a fan of mushy love songs as anyone, Kris is the perfect antidote to all that schmaltz. She plays to the more complicated side of relationships beyond the first infatuation very well. This album is the perfect accompaniment to a long road trip with the world blurring past your rolled down windows. If you're an independent spirit who resists being tied down I think you'll find a friend in Delmhorst's work.
