There's a reason they're here
by SkifFirst off, I believe that Lazlo Bane is a good band, and thoroughly enjoyed All the Time in the World. They spent a long time putting that CD together. In fact, that's why this one exists. Backsides is a collection of 10 songs which potentially could have been included in All the Time in the World, but were not. In the eyes of the band, while they like these songs, they didn't stand up to the final 12 on the other CD.
Don't get me wrong, there are some good songs here. I love All She Needs To Know, as well as Looking Up. While there's a reason these songs were cut, there's also a reason they were chosen over the other cut songs to be put here. Most of them are well written, with fun melodies.
Anybody who's thinking of buying these songs, consider buying ones you like individually, as buying the entire CD at once doesn't save you money here. And if you haven't yet, check out All the Time in the World.
Great Music
by snowboarder815I really like this album. They are a great band and I enjoy their music. Like many others I first heard them because of the Scrubs theme song - Superman. It is also a great song, but not the only great one! I suggest purchasing more of their music. I especiallay love the song This Ain't No Techo. It has a upbeat rythm and I like the lyrics!
