by Littl TimmyJon is a rare gift and a good friend. His voice has such similar timbres to Stevie Wonder while maintaining his own unique vibe. His presence has been missed on the forefront of Christian music for a while but he's on his way back strong. I hope to work with him myself. He's amazing.

by jet planeI have been a Jon Gibson fan since the late 80s when he would perform in these huge festivals. He just keeps getting better. "Soulful Hymns" is definitely the best I've heard. Vocals are extremely strong and high-quality. I played the CD at work and my coworkers thought it was Stevie Wonder :-)

by aceboonkkJG is the man. It's to bad that more of his music isn't available on iTunes. From a duet early in the career of 'then unsigned and unknown "Christian" rapper' named MC Hammer.
Buy this album, and find every song of his you can get your hands on. I heard a song he sang at concert 15+ years ago that I'm still waiting to see on CD.
