I love this album
OK, I live in NYC and had some friends come to visit so we stumbled in to this bar on the Lower East Side. We had no idea who this band was. Not the best time slot on a Sunday night at 11pm, but they were fantastic (though the lead singer seemed to apologize for a poor performance after every song that I thought was great). My friends and I immediately compared their style to Springsteen. Anyway after a speech on how much money they needed to get to D.C. the next night, we bought a CD from them. I swear I can not stop listening. I have told many people about this group and people that did not even see them live love this album. I know my buddy Rob in the Midwest has passed along his recommendation to many of his friends as well. Out of 13 songs there is only one I could do without. There are not many cd's for me that have that kind of a ratio. Do not order the desert in NYC indeed.

Saw these guy play a show on a Wednesday night, and could't believe what I was hearing. This is a sound that has a unique energy and vibe, a blend of country, and progressive rock. If you like bands like Wilco, Hold Steady or Jack Johnson you will love these guys...plus they have all the rock atmosphere without the stuck up rockstar attitude...All in All EXCELLENT !
