Great follow up to the original
by AquaMellowI'm a big fan of KevOz's Lakefront disc, and I was pleased to see that he put out a sequel. The title track is an updated - maybe I should even say upgraded - version of the Lakefront song that was on his original Lakefront CD. Message In a Bottle is very Braveheart-like - at least, that's what it reminded me of. And the final track is just awesome. Great work!
Great easy listening album
by Colt_45Smooth melodies and relaxing chord progressions. Instrumental music that does NOT get in the way. While the title track is my personal favorite, I also liked what the artist did with the closing cut, Sunset - very cool how the chords evolve and sounds are added to the song as it progresses. Good stuff!
Pleasing melodies and emotional warmth
by An onymous?This guy knows how to turn out lovely melodies. One of my favourites is "Message in a Bottle" where a drumming rhythm keeps the pace, a harpsichord kind of sound delivers an uplifting melody and soaring chords with a quivering edge add further drama. Of the introspective ones "Sands of Time" stands out. A springy and airy easygoing rhythm leads into a contemplative piano section. There's no doubting the pleasing melodies and emotional warmth running through the album.
