by Tashi007I saw this band live and fell in love in an instant. Elnora knows just how to belt out the blues. The entire night club was jumpin. Her fantastic showmanship pales in comparison to her magnificent singing. This cd is a must for all blues lovers. You will not be dissapointed.
Great first album!
by BoulderBassistI originally saw this band live in Southern California and was blown away. This is a very diverse blues album covering a lot ground styisticly. Elnora has an amazing voice and a great feel for the music. She apparently started singing Gospel music when she was about 3 and it shows. Sumpthin' Cookin' is a very tight band and all the guys can really play. The music is a lot of fun as well. I don't know anyone who has heard this album (or the band play live) that hasn't loved it. There's really not a bad cut on it and that's saying a lot for a first effort.
