Had it since it was released, still love it.
by BigtallbiscuitI suppose this review will seem slightly biased, since at one point I knew him, but I love this album. The "Madtowne" he is referring to is my hometown of Madison, SD. I bought this album at the record release party in 2004, and I still listen to it all the time. He is an undeniable talent, and I cannot wait until he puts out some new stuff.
Songs in the key of Life..
by Ambient being"Show me the money..." as Mason Blake says in "Madtowne Blues", and I'll show you some great accoustic bluesy folk rock. Although accoustic, these songs are so full of power and edge that make them out to be simply great accoustic rock songs. Well crafted and perfomed songs full of emotion by this awsome singer/songwriter that stand out above the many like him out there today. Life songs that people can relate to. A wonderful discovery that has found a a favorite spot in my musical library. Exactly Where "It" Belongs.
