Amazing alt-country/folk-rock blend

Waking Up In August is the singer, songwriter's first album. The album lives up to its namesake as the melodies warm to smartly blend elements of folk-rock and American alt-country. So many of the tunes build to a whirlwind of emotion it's impossible not to hit play and start the ride all over again. Des is a brilliant talent and this is album is an amazing effort. Download it.
