They get 5 stars becasue they deserve 5... Ashlee ruined Invisible.... Thank you Ashlee for bringing attention to a great band, even if you did ruin the song.

Good stuff

Jaded Era just keep getting better with each record. This Akron-based band is a local favorite for good reasons - they have a natural chemistry on stage (which might just have something to do with the fact that they've been together since middle school) and, because of their sharpened musicianship, the band always delivers the goods live. The opening 1-2 punch of Vanity and My Heart's on the Line are a great jump-start to this album; Rock On is a convincing song that uses the cliched title to jab at ex-lovers and the entertainment industry in the same breath; The Best Things and Believe in Me also tread on overly-familiar territory in their messages but the songs still come off as convincing. Jaded Era is a very good band - let's just hope that listeners are savvy enough to look past fakes and one-trick ponies like Ashlee Simpson or Avril Lavigne and go for a band with talent and staying power.
