Smooth yet substantial
by ItchymanI wishlist music that I stream from live365, and after logging in recently, I found that I had marked five of the ten tracks from Project One without realizing it. The austerity of the mix combined with the sublety of moods makes this album an intimate gem, full of emotional scope and delicate playing; it's like you're sitting in Mr. Weydener's studio with him, but he doesn't know it. Listen to the sample of "Wings," and if it doesn't appeal to you, pass on "Project One," and my condolences.
Truly a virtuoso
by DevilDog5537Although an electric bass virtuoso may seem to some as an overexaggeration, after listening to this album your appreciation of self managing musicians will change. Kenny is my good friend here at the School of Music here in Little Creek, Va. I'm a Marine musician and Kenny is a musician in the Army. Myself and everyone here is truly impressed by his skill of composing and improvising on the bass. This cd consists of Kenny on every instrument on this album and is an amazing representation of his musicianship. Truly one of the next great bass players of our time.
