Fresh...and refreshing
by Canyon LadyHere is music from a new artist that I could not stop playing. The album flows beautifully and digs deep without being cliche. The songs are original and diverse; they don't all sound the same--something that most new artists can't get away from. If you can manage to keep moving past IT--read: repeat mode locked!--you'll find a compilation of moods, styles and just plain gorgeous songs that soothe you, rock you, rhythm and blues you, while offering a little empathy for all that love and life throw our way. Outta My Way brought me to tears. Scare Somebody is just great fun; lyrically and instrumentally. Lange knows himself and isn't afraid to share. His pen is as mighty as his guitar, and vice versa. The album isn't over-produced and Lange's choice for background vocals is stellar. I found this CD on an indie site and bought it, went back and bought more for friends and family. Welcome to iTunes, Garr Lange. You deserve to be here.
