Cutting-Edge industrial from a master!
by Tetsuo: The Iron GeekThis is a collection of rare tracks, b-sides, and remix spans all 15 years of New Mind career. While some of these songs (mainly the older ones) are a bit rough or dated, the album shows Jonathan Sharp's progression from his earily Skinny Puppy influeced days, to his current techno-organic sound. What's most impressive is how much stylistic ground is covered on Phoenix. Sharp's unique brand of industrial music integrates shades of gabber, breakbeat, experimental, ambient, trip-hop and more. There's even a few hits of Jonthan Sharp's other electro project, Bio-Tek! There isn't a bad track on this album! Stand out songs include: Phoenix, P**s Christ, Lightning Zone, and Stammheim V1.02.

by Cybernetik DataA wonderful album. It brings joy to the ears and what is great is the deal you get- 17 songs for 10 bucks. Industrial EBM is truly a great genre- best tracks are 1,3,6,8,9, 11, and 17. Some songs are quite bad though including 4, 7, and 9. Still its worth 10 bucks.
