Nuggets for a new generation
by psychedelic fiendPlain and simple, this is how psychedelic rock/pop is supposed to be done. Everything drips with reverb, the songs are short and punchy, and that 60's organ sound just sings!! Though obviously done on a low budget, the sound is not that bad. The little T.Rex tribute "Cheetah" is excellent, but the best material has an Arthur Lee/Love vibe. The lyrics are superb throughout. Though the highlight is the organ solo on their brilliant cover of the Temptations' "Get Ready." This album is definitely worth buying!!
