by WBS71I used to see these guys in the early 90s in Sante Fe and Madrid. They are absoutlely incredible live and there music is hypnotic.
Best wedding band ever!
by 7ylerI discovered this band on an August night in northern california just south of the oregon border. The night was warm, the sky clear and the wedding and accompaniment was as near to perfection as one could hope. The entire set was acoustic; a man and his guitar, wordsmith extraordinary. A woman and her bass, more of partner than an instrument. And last a couple whose dueling strings brought tears to my eyes. These four make great music, it's as simple as that, I was lucky enough to discover them in most fortuitous circumstances such that I will never for get them.
Great Band!
by D.L. GrantI remember when they were busking outside of Evangelo's in Santa Fe back in the early 90's - watched them grow from open mic nights to steady gigs at El Farol, then on to the road.
So glad they're back together making music again - check them out! Even if it's not what you're used to listening to, their mix of bluegrass, blues, storytelling, jam, and all-around brilliant musicality will win you over the more you listen!
