Truly a Fantastic Album
by bhoyt47With "Letters to Boys" Schrader's music has matured to a level worthy of attention. The songs on this album combine assets shared by her previous work, including her excellent vocals, thought-provoking lyrics, and enchanting piano melodies, with a degree of musical complexity and truly "sing-along" quality hooks, to make one of my favorite albums by any artist.
I have had this album in my car's CD changer now for over a year, and still haven't tired of it. Few albums, in my experience, can boast at least 4 top-notch, radio-single-quality tracks, and with "War on Science," "Come When I Call,", "Everything I'm Not," and "So Close," Letters to Boys does just that. This is truly a fantastic album by a talented and under-appreciated artist.
Happiness though Melody
by _Demian_Libbie's honesty and sincerity are evident from the first track to the last. If you like the albums that people downloaded who listen to her, you won't be disappointed. This album is better than most of them. A very engaging work of melancholic, pop that puts you in a good mood with every listen.
There many precious tracks here. Put this happy little album on your shelf.
