Great Music

by Spazzy Irish

I'm normally more of a fan of Irish music than American, but Kincaid's work with Irish-American's song was great. My only complaint was in Song for the Irish Brigade; he did one line a bit strangely if he was trying to stay in keeping with an Irish song, but even so that has to be my favorite song on the album. I wish iTunes would get The Irish Volunteer, Kincaid's other album, as Boys that Wore the Green and Free and Green are just two more examples of his great work.

I fully concur

This is, how can I say, the best civil war Irish Music I have ever heard. Kincaid has an awesome voice and the instuments are excellent. As a Civil War music buff, I have to say that it would be a terrible pity to miss out on this excellent album. Anyone who wants a full lick of what the Civil War meant for the woad warriors in blue and gray, well it doesn't get any better then this. Listening to this music on a cold morning at a battlefield will give you chills, and will make you feel satisfied. Buy it, for 9.99, its a steal.
