A breath of fresh air for this genre
by Matt LeFeversThis EP may have single-handedly restored my faith in the sometimes lackluster one-man-with-an-acoustic-guitar genre. Comparisons to Dashboard Confessional or Bright Eyes wouldn't be even halfway accurate in describing this heartfelt, poignant masterpiece, because it really doesn't sound quite like anything else out there. And Gerke's voice is more than perfect, perhaps one of the best singing voices I've heard...pleasantly understated, but full of honest emotion. Buy it. Now. It's worth twice what it costs.
