Skiffledog Totally Rocks!
by skifflesuperfani love this whole album. i wish i had been alive during the 60's to see the Animals play in concert and seeing Skiffledog in concert is wayyyyy awesome! Hilton Valentine is an amazing guitarist. My favorite song is Working Class Hero....Lennon's lyrics and Hilton Valentines voice make this an incredible song....i love it. Skiffledog Rocks!
An Old Animal / A New Direction

After many incarnations and the life style that seems to follow all the survivors of that era, Hilton's work here seems very grounded while also maintaining a surreal flavor....the kind of music to get inside your head with and turn off the rush of life that invades all of us from time to time. The music is older...and newer and definitely enjoyable. If you're looking for a musically induced adrenalin rush..not the place for you. If you want music that might leave you feeling better after you've listened to the album than you did before you started, this one is it. Quality music from a great guitarist!
