Incredible Folk, with a Unique Blend of Rock n Roll
by Audiio~Sync©This is the alias of Joshua Dennison. An incredible folk musician from a little town called Akron, Ohio. He sends me his new albums each time they are released. Each one has it's own unique blend of, folk rock that I've never really heard before. His first album "Rocketeer" is definitely one of my all time favorite records. As far as his voice and instrumentation is concerned, think of Nick Drake, or Elliott Smith with a happier and more hopeful vibe. Notable tracks include: "Drive - In", "Superman", "Like Butterflies in June", "Everyone Relies on a Friend". You'll find yourself humming along whether you notice it or not
Pleasant folk rock
by buckythecatVery nice melodies. Nothing overpowering, with a soothing voice throughout. A great album to have on while relaxing. Everyone Relies On A Friend is the kind of song you always want to have with you.
Brilliant in it's simplicity
by CleepieVAGreat album...Luckily, I stumbled upon it while just searching for random music. The melodies carry the songs (rightfully) with very innocent, yet passionate vocal work. The music, although very simple, shows great attention to putting in what works as opposed to over-complicating every song. Highly recommended to REM and Pete Yorn fans...You won't be disappointed...
