Great CD

I just saw Eric live this weekend and he is an amazing performer. Bartender is my favorite song on any of his albums.

Sounds a little too familiar but then again not...

I've followed Eric from his very first solo album (after Dunsten Ashe was no more). I have all the albums and really enjoyed them at first... but I'm finding that many of the songs have the same rhythm/beat and there really isn't much diversity in his sound. I guess it's just the way some artists are - but for me, the songs start sounding so much alike I get bored with it. I'm holding out hope for his next album (hopefully he doesn't rush it out, as lately he seems to be trying to push them out too quickly).

Eric baby, SLOW DOWN

It's not a bad album, but it's just a bit too fast. Eric is incredibly talented, but this album is also the must frantic of everything i've heard. The tempo of the album is so rushed that there seems to be no time to really savor the music. That doesn't mean it's not good, it works... if you have a lawn to mow. The easy ride Mr. H, isn't here. Let's introduce "Marathon Eric".
