Chuck Cheesman is "home" wherever you listen
by VonnWhat a incredible choice for a first album for this artist to make available for download. Writing independently for both children and "grownups" , this is more for the latter - well, except for "Big Blue Dog" which is a delightful live recording that everyone will enjoy. A true songwriter of the heart, this album offers a warmth and honesty, rooted in folk stylings, that is a delight. The title track, along with "Big Blue Dog" are my favorites. If you have the chance to see him play in AZ or IL, don't miss him!

by ScottHuddlestonThere are several songs on this album which never leave your head. They are so melodic and lyrical that you love them from the instant you hear them. If you want to sample one song, and see for yourself, I strongly urge you to give "Mercury Montego" a listen. Even if you don't identify with the naive innocence of this beautiful piece, you'll wish you did. This journey into the artists memory is such a sweet ride, you'll wish that the story kept on going. Agree? Want another taste? Try the title track "Coming Home". Another example of top-rate songwriting and a fine performance to boot.
When I create a playlist on my iPod, one of these songs invariably finds its way into the mix. They are just that good. Hats off, Chuck. Years later, I'm still singing along to this fantastic record.
