This man is a hero

by OsageGirl

Floyd Red Crow Westerman is a hero that deserves the greatest honor. He has helped bring American Indian people to the forfront of society. Even though he had to go through Hollywood, he has helped shape the modern image and reputation of native peoples. He also was an amazing activist and leader. He had a way of making all of his audience comfortable even when speaking about difficult subjects, our nation's history, and current native issues. Floyd, you will be sorely missed and always remembered for the amazing impact you had on so many lives.
