Real Grass!!!!!!
by b-bone maloneIf you like bluegrass, I mean real 100% bluegrass, you will love Greensky. They are absolutely fantastic and have me sold as the # 1 band in their genre. No joke. The new album 8/08 "Five Interstates" has them progressing further lyrically yet sticking and not deviating from their musical roots. That album has not left my rotation in over a month. Do yourself a favor and get "Less Than Supper" or any of their releases, or catch them live (they seem to get around the country alot). I would be mighty surprised if you are not hooked line and sinker in a week. There is a reason they won Telluride, believe me.

Bells Brewery in Kalamazoo is " the venue " to see this extraordinary band jam in real life. If you have a chance to catch this group anywhere else take it! The soul of real bluegrass is alive and well, living under a greensky.
