Album Review
Though this writer can't in the least fathom Melissa Cross' oversinging, especially her overblown dramatics (wish she would purr more in her natural voice, as she does with charm on "My Complaint"), those who have a stomach for that style will find much to like in this post-punk foursome. The ensemble playing has suss, the songs are decent (try "Dragonfly"), and riffing Gardo Ramirez is a guitarist of promise. But those vocals!
