Album Review
Deep Down Far is one of Steve Jolliffe's more diverse offerings. He combines symphonic textures, deep sequences, acoustic nuances and ethereal atmospheres to deliver this message. It is — at times — difficult to follow these soundscapes. Jolliffe is proficient at all of the styles that he uses. At some of them, he is an expert. However, he does not need all of them on this disc. The CD is good and does not disappoint. There are some excellent passages. Jolliffe does not sustain them.
