The Best Folk-Rock Album About Robots Ever
by Prosecutorial_IndiscretionI tried to explain this album to some friends last night and failed miserably. The concept sounds silly, but the music is phenomenal. "More Songs About Oven Mitts" - an indisputably ridiculous title - is one of the best new songs I've heard this year, and a few other songs ("Small Machines," "Robot of Love," and "Yeti Is the New Robot") are gems, but the whole thing is outstanding and deserves a listen.
No They Do Rules the World!
by Ripley the GeckoDon't let the Robot schtick distract you - this is a great record because the songs are so good. Even if you don't care a stick about robots one way or another, the song Robot of Love will speak to you. Same goes for the rest of this songs on this record. Let's hope this band tours soon!
