To Call My Own (Right Shift)

Finally here

     

I've been waiting for what feels like forever for this release to appear on iTunes. I loved the initial release of this track ("left shift") but I knew there were more mixes coming. I have no idea who XMan is, but his mixes are surprisingly solid and I wanna hear more of his work. BARTON's radio mix has a surprisingly rock-influenced feel to it, and their original mix has a cool downtempo intro that really shows the direction the song could have gone if it wasn't a dance track. Manny Ward's mixes, both the vocal and instrumental, are some of the best I've heard from him.. but the real kicker is the Alex Santer Dawning mix. Just when I was ready to pigeonhole Santer's sound, he comes out with this. This one track would get the release five stars even if the other mixes weren't so solid. It isn't the highest-energy mix I've heard, but it's got more heart than anything I've ever heard Santer do, it makes me want to cry and makes me happy to be alive. Sooo worth it. Buy now.
