Great!
by tommer3I love this band. They show their influences but it's never about duplication as much as it is loving tribute. If you love Elton and Ben Folds and just about everybody else that sits behind a piano, then give Ego Tree a listen. The ballads are beautiful and drip both with melancholy and hope and the up tempo tracks plain out rock in a way that's smarter than bar band boogie and dumber than say, Leonard Cohen (which means the band is fun!). This isn't to say that frat boys and their professors and who ever is in-between wouldn't love Ego Tree. This is a band for every man and woman who cares about good music. So listen.
Delightful & upbeat
by 1stItascaA friend knows someone in the band and told me the album was on iTunes. I checked it out and was pleasantly surprised to find I really liked the clips. I don't usually like the smae stuff he does. So in the cart it went and I haven't regreted it a second. The entire album is a joy to listen to because of the great keys and vocals. I also enjoy the lyrics. "My Friend Ben" is a hoot but I can't say there are any cuts I don't like. Buy this one - it's truly a treat.

by Lee-sueMy Friend Ben is catchy from the very beginning. It is one of those songs that sticks in your head and you find yourself singing all day.
Song for You is a great ballad that you can play over and over.
I suggest the whole album, but prefer the studio recorded songs over the live ones.
