by GMaagThis album rocks! But there are so many wonderful elements in it though that promise a great result! First and most importantly ... Jackie Moran! When I lived in Chicago and was one of his Bodhran students, I went to every show of his that I could (including many at Martyrs'), because I couldn't get enough of his addicting, heart pounding percussion rhythms! And you can help but being caught up in the overflow of his love for the music and the culture that pours out of him every time he plays! Secondly, is the wonderful atmosphere of Martyrs'. Martyrs' is probably the place I miss the most about Chicago ... great music, food, people, and oh did I mention music?! And the rest of band wraps it up for an incredible performance and CD, which desperately makes me homesick for Chicago and the incredible Irish music scene I fell in love with!
