Phenomenal Voice, Phenomenal Songs, Phenomenal Woman
by Ad Agency MavenI met Kallen Esperian recently and what a dynamic person with such an unassuming attitude! She is a fantastic person and with that voice, a National Treasure.
Here's a collection of torch songs that my mother used to sing to me when I was a baby. When I heard Kallen's rendition for the first time, it was moving. Forget the Blues, Memphis. This group of songs from this Lyric Soprano is absolutely mezmerizing.
Nothing from Kallen Esperian is even average on this CD or any others. "The Three Sopranos" CD is a hit; "Arias,' her most recent CD is incredible and "American Treasure" is folk music like you've never heard before.
Now, she just needs to record with Diana Krall, Michael Bublé and Allison Kraus and I can die happy.
