Album Review
Kelly Richey's 1999 album Dig a Little Deeper widens her sound while remaining true to her group's bluesy roots. Songs like "Is Anybody Listening," "It's Rainin' in My Head," and "Cracked & Bent" have a more polished sound than the Kelly Richey Band's usual fare, but still feature Richey's emotive vocals and no-holds-barred guitars, along with an added emphasis on songwriting.

Heart Deep

In times where concert halls are filled by soul-less noise, Kelly brings a raw, bluesy, emotional message of hope and love that reaches beyond the notes and plays the strings of our hearts. Joplin and Hendrix died and waited for the proper recipient to be reincarnated, except that this recipient added a lot of her own. This is a must buy, must listen, must live.
A Great Kelly Rich CD to Have!
by Evan LuseI was so glad to download this CD, as it was the last one I did not have. Kelly really amazes with hear vocals, but still staying true to the great bluesy guitar we have come to love. A great example songwriting. She does an outstanding version of Hey Joe. This is a must have!
