by shinywaterThis sort of recording is for your relatives. It is not meant to be posted on itunes, or you expose yourself to reviews like this and all the others. Artists need to be given time to mature before they're subjected to public humiliation.
Is she serious?
by actuallyasopranoSeriously? I went looking for Dame Sutherland singing "La Fille du Regiment" and I found this? She needs to wait 15 years before she even thinks about singing 1/2 of these pieces again. If only iTunes had the ability to remove crappy music. After listening to the samples I need an entire fifth of something. Dear God in heaven.
People seriously give her a break...
by PENGUIN=LIFE!She is young...and when you sing at young ages like 16 your voice isn't FULLY developed.......give her a freeking BREAK.....and if you check her out on youtube paticularly Caro Nome from 2008 her voice is more developed.....and at her age singing "Les Oiseaux dans la charmille" (Doll Song) and Bell Song from Lakme.....(these are on youtube)....It takes the EFFORT and THE TALENT.....and being 17-18 or 16, that calibre of that is amazing.....She will no doubt be the next Lily Pons bypassing the old hag Maria Callas......We should be thankful she isn't singing gross music like "Toxic" or "Gimme More"......she could just as easily do those...Opera is an art....Pop music isn't art, it requires no talent or effort...So let's applaud her efforts!!! I have high excpetations for her new songs!!!
