Whether you're a LONE WOLF running under the TENNESSEE MOON, or flyin' your FREAK FLAG on a country DIRT ROAD, the music of Ron Rutherford's LONE WOLF is essential gear for any outing! Rutherford gives us a musical gift we haven't seen since MANY MOONS AGO. THIS IS TRUE not only of the songs individually, but of the entire album as a package. The songs just fit together, and while each song is highly enjoyable on its own, to get the most of all that Rutherford has to offer, this album deserves a listen (or three) from beginning to end, in a quiet room, with a cold drink, and the lights dimmed down just a little bit. A Diamond in the Rough!
by Ed's Mixed BagWithout a doubt Ron Rutherford's "Lone Wolf" CD is a diamond in the rough! From the first track, "Freak Flag" to the last, "Dirt Road" this package is bound to become a classic. As was the case back in the days of vinyl albums, for a collection of songs to become classic, they must all be memorable; not just one or two. Ron's "Lone Wolf" CD contains 11 memorable tracks and I remember when I first heard it, it was very difficult to choose 1 track for "play" on my podcast. Jersey Joe (a behind the scenes music lover from New Jersey) has chosen as his "Pick-To-Click" track #6, "This Is True" but for me if I had to pick one, I'd go with track #1, "Freak Flag" which has also become Ron's brand slogan, "Keep Your Freak Flag Flyin'!" Produced by Robert Wayne Hawkins and singer/songwriter Ron Rutherford, "Lone Wolf" is bound for the "classic" storage bin!!
