simple talent
by wswhitThis woman blew me away at a concert where she was warming the audience for another performer in Berklee MA. I bought tickets to see the headliner, but was literally depressed when she had to leave the stage. Could not wait to hear more of her voice, lyrics, everything. The CD I purchased in the lobby that night has been worn to the quick - so I am downloading it now from iTunes. I never, ever buy a record twice. And as an aside, my sister feels the same. Rose is simply talented. And if you like old country, new folk and everything in between - you will love this recording! I hope she knocks out another one soon.
Strong album all the way through
by kriminologieI saw Rose Cousins play a show in Austin with Edie Carey and couldn't leave without her album. It's now one of my favorites, and there's no need to skip tracks to get to favorites because all the songs are keepers. Particularly beautiful - Home.
