by suprotennesseeThis is an excellent record: abstract, ambient, avante gard, eerie, furious, feerless. Helena Espvall doesn't play down to anyone's expectations of the part she plays in Espers and the Valerie Project. This is a challenging album, rife with dark, deep catharsis, and brightly elevated surreality. If you aren't ready for this kind of work by a certain point in your life, you may never be; nonetheless, everyone should develop a taste and understanding for this music. The world would be a million times more interesting. Again, excellent album.
