Album Review
Marcus Goldhaber is a singer with real feeling for the songs he interprets, and he obviously loves the dozen standards on The Moment After. However, his voice is very close to that of Chet Baker's, almost too close at times, so he does not display a musical personality of his own despite his sincerity. While not really a jazz singer himself, mostly sticking to the words and the melodies, Goldhaber is joined by a fine jazz trio which has plenty of solo space for pianist Jon Davis. The renditions are swinging, the songs are superior, and Marcus Goldhaber does his best throughout. But to be taken seriously, the singer will have to develop a voice of his own in the future.

A must have for any jazz collection
by tm204I bought "Walking My Baby Back Home" and had to buy the rest of the album. Its smooth and fresh and I cant stop listening to the album. I just wish there were more tracks on itunes plus.
