Tired Retreads...

I wanted to like this album, but the song choices are lame. Why listen to this version of "Your Disco Needs You" when Kylie Minogue's was letter-perfect to begin with? Kim Wilde's version of "If I Cant' Have You" is far superior to Jones's, and didn't Pet Shop Boys produce enough mixes of "New York City Boy" to take us well into the next decade? Pumped-up versions of the Monkees' "I'm a Believer" and Glenn Campbell's "Rhinestone Cowboy" are also unwanted. Why would Jones choose such weak material for an attempted return to the spotlight?!

eh.
