Outstanding!!!
by JackSway3003Lauren really shows off her talents with these two songs! Its great how she can switch it up a little for different styles of music. For instance, "U Can Do Better" has a catchy beat (if you like BASS this song packs a deep punch with every beat!) and really brings to mind the music of Gwen Stefani and Nelly Furtado. Now, "Sometimes" has got to be one of the most amazing songs I've heard in a while. Its a ballad to take on the likes of Celine Dion to say the least. I've listened to it many times already and STILL get goosebumps about 2:15 into the song...you gotta hear it to understand! You will wonder why you got such great songs for just .99 cents each! If songs were priced by excellence and talent these would be well over $100.00 per track!
Hot Stuff
by NGJagersLauren Briant has SUCH a fabulous voice. I think it is most evident in Sometimes (ballad) but she is so versitile that she makes the uptempo songs work too. They are really catchy and fun. She is so strong vocally with a full sound all over her range. And she's hot, yeah? I dig her.
What a powerful instrument!
by AshleriahLauren Briant is, first and foremost, a vocalist. Neither of the songs on this release are phenomenally written. "U Can Do Better" is a fun, decently catchy pop song with a flavor reminiscent of 90's pop and hip-hop. "Sometimes" grew on me; even though the lyrics are sort of pop music cliche at times, the music makes a fabulous vocal showcase. But then again, Lauren reminds me a lot of Christina Aguilera during her "Genie in a Bottle" era--with such a strong, rich, and versatile voice, she could sing anything and make it sound great. And that's a quality that will take her very far in this industry.
