Now this is more like it!
by Christmas2008Even though I liked Forced II Believe and the demo CD The Edge of Insanity, I must admit that THIS album is where Court Jester really proves their mettle. Without question, the grittier, down-to-earth alternative rock they play here is more becoming of them and truly speaks to the listener's soul in a way that their previous work couldn't quite do, even at its best. Think of it as a lighter version of the grungy "outlaw rock" for which more legendary bands like Guns 'n' Roses and Skid Row are known for, and you get the basic premise of Strangeland, which I definitely recommend to any fan of good rock music.
