Another great Austin musician!

by l'il red

Heard Jeff at a Celtic Summer Evening concert in Austin, alongside the likes of Irish fiddle legend James Kelly and the incomparable Mark Stone. Wow. Jeff has a wonderful stage presence, beautiful voice, and delivers magic from the old Martin strings. His timing is brilliant, his technique flawless. The Dove's Perch is beautiful, rich, soulful, and melodic from start to finish; the production is perfect. Just an absolute joy.

A Really Great album

Jeff Moore's work is definitely worth getting acquainted with. Jeff plays Acoustic Guitar and focuses on the guitar's role as accompaniment in Irish/Celtic music. He ain't half bad as a singer either. Jeff does a good job of mixing up the tunes, playing a variety of tempos and themes. My favorite tracks are Welcom Poor Paddy Home, Song of the Hammers, Only a Miner, and The Death of Queen Jane. Overall this is a great solo effort and is very enjoyable.
