Great Album by a Great Icon

Picked up this album after attending a Gurf Morlix concert at the Palms in Winters, Ca. Gurf lived with Blaze or I should say Blaze lived with Gurf for 2 years and they recorded a lot of these songs during that period. Blaze drove around with the original tapes for some reason and they were stolen. It was only a year or two ago that someone found a copy of the music and called Gurf who then worked to put the album together. Cold, Cold World is one of the best songs ever written and you can feel the pain in Blaze's voice. For some humor check out "Wouldn't that be
nice" which is a song he wrote after he was hitchhiking one day and traffic was backed up on the highway. A lady in a car near Blaze saw him and reached over to lock all of her doors. Officer Norris, Why did you Treat me Like this,
Christian Lady Talkin on the Bus and New Wave Blues are also great. I recommend buying the entire album. It is a
great deal and there is a large variety of songs.
